The comfortable way down the coast
Zadar and Dubrovnik are linked by the A1 motorway as far as Ploče and then by the Pelješac bridge, which opened in 2022. The bridge means the route no longer crosses the short stretch of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Neum, so there are no border checks on the way. By bus the trip takes the best part of a day. With a private driver it is about four hours, in a quiet car, with stops whenever you want them.
Turn it into a day on the road
- Šibenik and St James's Cathedral
- Krka National Park, for a morning at the waterfalls
- Trogir and Split, for lunch by Diocletian's Palace
- The Makarska Riviera, with the Biokovo mountain behind it
- Ston, for its walls and the oysters of Mali Ston
One way or round trip
Most guests use this transfer to start or end a trip along the coast, for example flying into Zadar and out of Dubrovnik. Saša drives back on his own, so you pay for a one-way transfer. It also works as part of a multi-day trip, with a night in Split or Makarska on the way.
