The resort peninsula north of Zadar
Petrčane is a small village about 12 km north of Zadar, and the Punta Skala peninsula next to it is home to a cluster of five-star and family resort hotels, villas and residences in the pine woods by the sea. It is calm, green and right on the water, which is why so many families and couples choose it. It is also far enough from town that you need a car for almost everything.
Transfers we drive most often
- Zadar Airport to Punta Skala and Petrčane, about 25 minutes
- Split Airport to Petrčane, about 1 h 45
- Evening rides to Zadar old town for dinner, and back after
- Day trips from the resort to Nin, Krka or Plitvice
- The Gaženica ferry port for island days
Dinner in Zadar without the parking
The old town has the restaurants, the Sea Organ and the sunset, but parking near the peninsula in summer is hard work. Book a ride in, enjoy the evening, and message Saša when you are ready to go back. He collects you at the edge of the old town and has you back at the hotel in 20 minutes.
Families and groups
The Mercedes V-Class seats up to seven with luggage and child seats fitted on request, which suits families arriving for a week at the resort. Couples and business guests usually ride in the S-Class. Both cars are cleaned before every pickup.
